Personalized Pillows made with a Home Printer

I have already posted a tutorial below on making personalized pillows using your home printer and freezer paper so for more detailed instructions, just scroll down a few posts and you will find it.  Something about fall just brings out the crafter in me and I love putting little hints of fall all over the house.  Here are a few more pillows that I made using the freezer paper technique below.  By ironing freezer paper to the back of your selected fabric, you are essentially creating a stiffness to the fabric that will allow it to be fed into your own home printer.  Once you have printed a logo, monogram, quote or graphic to your fabric, you just peel off the freezer paper and throw it away.  It is so easy and the possibilites are endless.  Personalized pillows also make great gifts!  You can buy freezer paper at your local grocery store.  Buy the biggest roll you can because you just might find you get addicted to making pillows for every season and occasion!

Here are a few of my latest projects!  The first photograph shoes the burlap fabric fresh out of the printer with the freezer paper still attached.  I added fabric to each side of the burlap then added one large piece of 13x20 fabric to the back.  I just used fabric that I had around the house but you can purchase any kind of light to medium weight fabric for your pillow.  Chenille is especially pretty on a finished pillow as you can see from the "Give Thanks" pillow below.

Please share any pillows that you made using this tutorial!  Happy Fall Y'all!
